Jet Force Gemini Reimagining
Redesigns for a hypothetical sequel to Rare’s Jet Force Gemini on the N64.
For a game called JET Force Gemini, I find it all little odd that you only get the jetpacks halfway through the game. And even when you do, their utility is fairly limited. You can only use them in specific rooms with fuel pads and only to slowly ascend to access to new areas. They didn't have much application in combat or traversal beyond that. In my hypothetical sequel, they would be a more integral part of the gameplay. You could use them anywhere to fly or dash quickly along the ground, a bit like Vanquish. The enemies would also get an upgrade as well, with additional appendages the player can blast off with precise shooting, like how the bosses in the first game were designed.
